Quote Freely From The Article – Leave The Pseudonym Alone
POTUS and Vice POTUS seem to be at odds to some extent when it comes to United States policy on Israel‘s right to strike Iran to curtail Iran’s ability to come forth with a big bomb.
With numerous threats from Iran’s leader of record … and leader in fact (according to the mighty mullahs’ decision) after the recent election held there, but deemed not so by many in Iran; Israel has to be working to stop the threats from being carried out. That is, in any reasonable person’s opinion, their right, and the governments of free nations everywhere surely recognizes this right. What becomes strange, is the flip – flop of indecisiveness the United States leaders display from time to time. On July 6th and July 7th the POTUS and Vice POTUS, in turn, demonstrated examples of this namby-pamby diplomacy.
On July 6th Reuters reported that Biden had stated during an ABC News segment that, “We cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do when they make a determination, if they make a determination, that they’re existentially threatened” Biden said. This statement can be and was interpreted to mean that the United States believes that Israel is empowered to act as it sees fit in determining what action or actions they might take toward Iran on the nuclear issue.
Now on this day (July 7th) according to The Jerusalem Post, POTUS issues this zinger, when asked if Washington had given the green light for Israel to attack Iran: “Absolutely not.” Then continuing, he stated: “We can’t dictate to other countries what their security interests are.” And, continuing still, POTUS says, “What is also true is, it is the policy of the United States to try to resolve the issue of Iran’s nuclear capabilities.” Somewhere during the interview, POTUS finally indicates that it is United States Policy to handle issues, such as those between Israel and Iran, through diplomatic efforts.
Clear … Yes, clear as the muddy Mississippi. Just as this short Utube clip demonstrates.
