Remember the million dollar embezzlement of ACORN funds allegedly carried out by Dale Rathke (Wade’s brother)? Well, you can forget about the million dollars as the Louisiana Attorney General declares that the amount was five million. That’s right, five million.
Five million that was mostly covered up by the officers and board members, some of which may very well have included substantial sums of public monies granted to ACORN to carry out so-called legitimate work. Work, such as illegal voter registration, breaking into foreclosed homes and using strong- arm tactics to force company executives to toe ACORNS line or suffer the financial consequences of disobeying ACORN and its affiliated money grubbers.
It looks as though ACORN and its subsidiary partners-in-crime, or at the very least, partners-in-slime, always has a new story to tell or be told waiting just below street level and inside the sewer.
