I didn’t have any details, except I heard a small bit on the national news this evening regarding a guilty plea in New York which involves financial fraud.

The inference in the story was that the fallout will reach back to New Mexico and is likely to touch some folks in our state government, perhaps elected officials or staff members … or, both.

Figuring that there must be something in print by now I went to the Wall Street Journal and picked up this story New York — New Mexico

Look for state indictments through the United States Attorney soon.

No, those aren’t graft dollars coloring the state green.
