Why would this low approval rate surprise anyone? For that matter, how did they build it up to that amazing height. Congress has accomplished little since January, and their (Congress‘) wish to keep from posting the health care bill in advance really does little to cultivate trust and admiration.

Of course, when Republicans enjoyed a majority in both houses, they were on occasion, guilty of the same, i.e., refusal to post bills ahead of a vote. There was no excuse for the Republican’s failure to do so, absent national security or some other emergency and there is no excuse for the Democrats for the present.
