Yes, ACORN again. This is getting to be truly unbelievable. Someone, commented that they (ACORN and some of its employees) are offering their help and are not personally benefiting. The commenter goes on to say, in essence, that sort of action is the true mark of a cult:

The amazing thing is how, aside from the satisfaction of tearing down th eUS, the indviduals don’t personally benefit.
That’s the hallmark of a serious cult.

I used to believe that the activity displayed by ACORN and its employees in these video events must have a stopping point; now it appears the actors change but the action is the same …  just part of a different episode.

Just when we think we have seen everything, the New York Times (NYT) surprises us with new and outrageous effrontery to suggest that the NYT be on a student required reading list. And, they intend to reward any professor with his or her (the professor’s) very own subscription for playing along with their circulation scheme.

Perhaps the NYT should promote for circulation through a fiction writing course. That, or stop their habit of slanting the news to support their views. It sometimes seems that every story in their newspaper is an editorial. It appears that the folks at NYT believe that wrong ideas eventually become so numerous that they conceal the right ideas.

Here’s the take from TIMESWATCH.  Who else? At least one professor takes exception to the suggestion that he could be a toady for a rag.
