POSTED AS A COMMUNITY SERVICE BY GADABOUT-BLOGALOT
Season’s greetings! I sincerely hope everyone has had a wonderful year!
What a phenomenal year we’ve had! Thankfully, the food pantry has been very successful. We’ve learned over the year that there is more need in this area than we expected. With that in mind, Edgewood Mobile Food Pantry partnered with Rich Ford and NM Rods and Rides Magazine to try to help some deserving families with Christmas.
This Christmas push is financially separate from the food pantry. All of the money donated to the food pantry has been sent to Roadrunner. What we are collecting for now will help buy needed clothing and toys for deserving families around the area. We have 3 specific families in mind, however, if we collect enough, we will be able to increase the number of families we help out.
Experience has show what a generous community we live in. There never seems to be a shortage of people willing to help the food pantry. We have truly been blessed! Once again, we are turning to our community for help.
