Friday Blast!!

Happy Friday Chamber Members!

What a beautiful day it is outside! Just a small reminder: Don’t forget to “Spring Forward”! That’s right, we set our clocks ahead one hour (Saturday night before you go to bed). The monthly luncheon on Wednesday was great. Roger at Wildlife West gave us a rundown on their events for the summer. SASS informed us on their upcoming events and advertising opportunities. Kevin gave us a very informative presentation. At the luncheon I also passed out the Edgewood Chambers Event Dates (see attachment). Now that the dates are set…the Chamber needs committee members!! Each Board member is the Chairperson for an event. Please send me an email or call the Chamber office to let me know what committee you want to serve on. Here are the committee choices:

Route 66 Day/BBQ Cook Off

Run, Rally, and Rock

Tri-Chamber Golf Tournament

Annual Banquet

Holiday Shop @ Home Campaign

I will also be needing volunteers to help with a shift or two at the Chamber booth at the SASS End Of Trail event (June 24-26).

Happening This Weekend:

March 13: Haiti Relief Concert @ Wildlife West

This event is from 1 – 4 PM. Entertainment will be provided from The Curio Cowboys, Jimbo, Smooth Bros., and Juniper Hill. Children’s entertainment will be from: Pink Elephant Theater. Adults: $10 donation, Children 13-18: $5 donation and children 12 and under are FREE!! This event is sponsored by the Edgewood Lions Club and the American Red Cross.

March 13: Unscrabble Tournament

This event will be at the Moriarty Civic Center from 10 AM – 2 PM. Proceeds will benefit Read “Write” Adult Literacy Program. Call 832-9469 for more information

Rosanna Aragon and her USANA team will be hosting this month’s networking mixer at the Chamber office. The mixer will be from 5:30 – 7:00 PM. These networking mixers are always a GREAT way to meet new people, market your business, and have fun!! Bring your business cards

March 25: Edgewood Food Pantry Mobile Food Bank

Will begin at 5 PM at Valley View Christian Church
