Quote Freely From The Article – Leave The Pseudonym Alone
To have “re-education,” you need to have education first. There has been a dearth of solid, understandable and common-sense information since Obamacare was hatched.
ABCNews’ Steve Portnoy reports on the NOTE:
As a widely watched survey shows support for the new health care reform law slipping, the leader in the reform effort says the administration has “a lot of re-education to do” to reverse the trend.
The poll, from the Kaiser Family Foundation, shows more Americans now oppose the reform law than favor it, 45 percent to 43 percent, reflecting a seven-point drop in support from the organization’s last survey, released in late July.
It seems it is almost akin to a group of beavers chip, chip, chipping away at what approval there might have been. Depending on who and what you might read, some polls have said approval was above or below 50%. Now opinions are much more dismal and I don’t believe they will improve as far as Americans attitudes about the health plan. Here is the most recent sign that things are going downhill at a more rapid pace:
The current survey shows only 39 percent of Americans believe the country will be “better off” under the health care reforms, a new low in this poll. Slightly more than half of those questioned say they’re disappointed in the new law.
In an ABC News/Washington Post poll taken in July, 50 percent of Americans disapproved of the president’s handling of health care, with 45 percent saying they approved. Those who disapproved did so more strongly than those who favored the Obama administration’s actions.
It is quite puzzling to think that Obama’s health secretary really believes that Americans will just reverse course and come to believe Obamacare is as cool as refrigerated hasty-pudding. The plan started out as a grand puzzlement and it has not slowed down as it started its roll downhill. Sebelius mentions the $250 check that some seniors have started receiving which in her opinion has made seniors more enthusiastic since it is supposed to help pay for the “donut hole.” Speaking as a senior, I look at it as just so much empty air … like a, well like a donut hole:
Kaiser reported last month that among those 65 years and older, 43 percent said in July that Medicare would be “worse off” under the reforms, compared to 25 percent who said the program would be “better off.”
Sebelius says she understands the concerns of American seniors:
“They’re worried about what happens to their benefits in the future, worried about what happens to the overall stability of Medicare.”
