The following information is provided by Jim Crawford.  We have heard from Mr. Crawford on many occasions and we have enjoyed his comments and analysis on different aspects of environmental and energy regulations.  Put this down in your calendar, but if you forget to do so, you can check on the events schedule on the start or home page of the STP website:

Just a reminder that hearings to repeal the NMED cap and trade regulations will begin November 8 and 9, 2011 (Case EIB 11-15). The hearings will continue Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of each succeeding week until completed. The hearings on repeal of the NEE regulations will begin December 5 (Case EIB 11-16) and continue with the same 3 days per week schedule until completed.

Oral comments will be accepted at 6:30 PM each day of the hearings. Written comments need to be in hard copy with an original and nine copies sent to: Board Administrator, New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board, 1190 St. Francis Drive N2153, Santa Fe, NM 87502. You should include the case number on your comments.

E-mail comments will no longer be accepted. They planned to have a fill-in box on the web site to submit e-mail comments but so far that has not materialized.

Now is the time to get written comments in to the board!
