I love dogs and I especially love Chinese Pugs, Jack Russell Terriers, and Corgi/Jack Russell crosses. Perhaps it is because we have a Pug and a Cojack and never tire of  watching their antics … well, most of the time!  I posted a Jack Russell Christmas video two years ago, also last year and will post it again this year, along with a couple of others. I hope you enjoy the dogs and the message, however subtle:

Here’s the final one.  Now go out to your nearest shelter and save a dog, or even a cat or kitten!

Have a wonderful Christmas or if you celebrate some other religious holiday during this season, I pray your particular celebratory day or period will be rewarding.

Thanks to all the dogs, pups, owners and video artists who put together these wonderful presentations.  You have blessed us.

If you are a sound-bite purveyor, make sure your questions are those to which you know the answer.  The Contessa at MSNBC has not learned the old lesson lawyers and pseudo-interviewers must know to be effective … but she does seem to be able to recover from silliness.  Here’s the video via RealPolitics and MSNBC:

Story & Video

I would bet after that experience, even thought she recovered with only a deer in the headlight look, she will not ask many question in her snappy manner when she hasn’t a clue about the answer.

Dear Deer,

Screenshot of Bambi and Faline from the traile...

What can the matter be?

And the deer said — I’m freezing.  And the people said — We will rescue you!  And they did — then the Deer  Sheriff, silly as could be — gave them a citation.  Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!  And with all due respect — Maybe a little ignorant!

Perhaps a Chortle, Giggle or Guffaw Will Sustain For A Couple Of Hours

Brace yourself before looking at the attached image.  A pilot at low level has no control over his aircraft. It narrowly misses a crowd gathered for the airshow and slams into four buildings.  One can only imagine the horror of the occupants inside those buildings.

A friend sent this to me and I have pasted it here as an example of a “teachable/learn-able” interlude. Be careful out there as you attempt to use those uncomfortable comfort stations. I have no idea where this accident took place.  Perhaps it was in Albuquerque.  If anyone knows anything about the event, please feel free to comment.
