What is your guess? Where will this go? Are we in for a protracted mess because we are free. Or, are we in a long-lived- free-fall into an abyss of no return. Perhaps a hate filled socialist mass of bull butter because our government has sent a message that this is “the way?” Is it our destiny to fight off terrorists from every direction … or, can we gain back a modicum of common sense?

Maybe, I don’t now, nor have I ever really understood the American (United States) psyche, but I figured we were at least a year or two away from the foolishness that has shown up on a Rasmussen Poll published today. To an old fool such as myself, the news is frightening, disgusting and discouraging. That is, if I really believed in polls or believed that those polled really knew the definition or ideas behind the subjects about which they are polled. It all seems such a virtual pile of bull butter and out of the American mainstream that over 200 years of history and government can be thrown over so blithely.
Oh well, before some sort of powerful mind fusion shorts out what synapses I have remaining, I’ll turn this junk over to you folks who have the power (collectively) to do something about the issue. “What issue,” You may ask as you start to continue merrily on your way?
