At War With Terrorists

There now I’ve said it. At war with terrorists … has a certain bang to it don’t you think? And, you would think that our federal administration would think the same. Well, don’t delude yourself, Obama’s administration, by way of the homeland security director and Secretary of State Cinton are trying to straighten all of our misguided opinions and have us refrain from using Jihadists and the phrase “war on terror.” Click here to see her (Clinton’s) story with all its foolish glibness.

You can’t wish away facts, and although folks in Europe and other locations get queasy and week-kneed when either term is used, the fact remains that there are terrorists and terrorist cells in many safe havens across this globe. Dollar to a doughnut that this new stupid political correctness has something to do with the new directions some of our administration officials are trying to implement in Afghanistan in reaching out to the Taliban.

It won’t work and the reason it won’t is because we have madmen who have vowed to take us down. These people are not only in Pakistan and Afghanistan, they are in every muslim dominated country and those soon to be dominated by Islamists. AND, as we stated above, they are here in the United States. Get real Obama. Al-Queda does not love you, or the United States, no matter who might be at the helm. If you relax the pressure, I’m certain we will feel the pressure from another attack.

Jihadists, war on terrors and terrorists, now I’ve added to my lack of political correctness.

The Rupert Speaks

Here it comes again. The news media seem to be grouping and groping for lost revenue from print media. So they are planning to charge for access to their on-line fizz. With print media suffering at the money trough, particularly as a decrease in advertising revenue smacks them in the money bags, they believe that by charging for online access to their so-called news they can make up the shortfall.

I hear a giant crashing sound as they begin their efforts to recoup losses from print media. Folks, especially present day folks, have barely enough income to purchase print media, much less be convinced that something they have received free for many years will be worth the price. I’ll be surprised if the news industry as a whole doesn’t implode and crush itself. If we can agree that the news manufacturer (The New York Times) mostly works to create news and not seriously report in an unbiased fashion, then we can begin to see how everyone else in the business will not be able to depend on the New York Times to set the stage and write the news for them  … as I maintain is the case now.

Mr. Rupert Murdoch is one of the most strident drum beaters in this new movement. Although he has amassed millions by knowing when to act and how to act, I believe he and the others who follow his example will find that this is not your father’s media era.

Some advice Mr. Murdoch, and  everyone else in the business that has “one wheel off and the axle dragging,” work harder to sell some advertising and sustain yourself the old fashsioned way. Here is Mr. Murdoch’s pitch to the masses CLICK
