Figuratively speaking that is. And, the figures are pretty huge if the monetary status of the diners are any indication. The story this time is about Democrats running for the same U.S. Senate seat, but with Florida it could be the same result overall if we were talking about two gubernatorial candidates in Florida. One a Republican and one an Independent that was a Republican. This story is about an incumbent current United States Representative, who desires to be a United States Senator and another Senator wanna’ be. FactCheck.org, presents a summary of the battle or the barbecue, depending, I guess on the side to which you grant credence … if there is any (credence, that is):
In a Senate race chock full of attack ads, the Florida Democratic primary pits Rep. Kendrick Meek against billionaire investor Jeff Greene. Both men carry heavy political baggage; Meek did favors for a developer who is now under indictment, and Greene made hundreds of millions of dollars when homeowners defaulted on their mortgages. And now each is attacking the other with false or misleading claims.

I just want to glory in the hog wallow the Dems in Florida have found for their party. This particular “Fact Check,” would be easy to describe as exceedingly long if one did not know how through the folks who work and dig for the organization are. Bits and pieces of this particular posting by Fact Check will not do justice to their analysis, research and conclusion; we can let them tell the story in their own unique way. I just wanted to (no pun intended) chuckle awhile. The complete story is found right here
