Annual Banquet – TONIGHT! 

The Edgewood Chamber of Commerce Masquerade Extraordinaire isTONIGHT!

Remember, you can use the swimming pool and other activities (except the Wellness center)beginning at 2 pm! You’ll be able to shower and dress there, just be sure to bring towels and toiletries!

maskChair massage will be available beginning at 2 pm.(gratuities appreciated.)

Silent Auction and bar opens at 5 pm.

For the Silent and Live Auctions we have a GIANT TV, computer, beautiful jewelry, auto services, restaurant packages and MUCH more….that doesn’t even mention the great door prizes. Retail values range from $5 to $1800. Door prize tickets will be $1 or 6 for $5. You won’t want to miss out! Be sure to bring cash, checks, or credit cards.

Be a good sport and dress up! We’ll have a prize for best Masque and best Costume. When you arrive, be prepared to be photographed. You’ll have opportunity to purchase prints to benefit the Chamber as well.

BOARD POSITION NOMINATIONS 

Two board positions will open on December 1. We will take nominations to fill these positions through the luncheon on November 10. The board will vote to fill these positions from the nominations received at the regular monthly board meeting on November 17. 2011 Schedule 

LuncheonsWe need to get these scheduled! We need volunteers! This is your opportunity to plan to speak up and share what YOUR BUSINESS has to offer to your fellow Chamber Members and Community. Remember we meet second Wednesday of each month. (January through April are spoken for!)

Please send an email to let us know the month you would like to share as well as your topic so we can set the calendar!

Mixers – We will also need sponsors for the mixers that take place third Thursday of each month! This is a time and place for us to mix and mingle and learn about each other’s business, as well as to just relax a bit!

Send an email with the month you would like to host along with the location.


Upcoming Member Events 

Fall Extravaganza at Wildlife West Nature Park – TOMORROW – Saturday October 30th from 12:00 to 6:00, all for FREE!  There will be games of chance like Bingo, a blast from the past with kid carnival games.  Tickets will be sold for these for a very small fee. JR’S BBQ is supplying the food, Wal-Mart is giving candy for little trick or treaters. CALL ROGER IF YOU CAN HELP OUT! 505-281-7655.

Halloween Spooktacular – Sunday October 31 2-5 pm at My Happy Place Children’s Center. Free for kids 1-10. 48 Horton Road located just west of Wildlife West Nature Park on the frontage road in Edgewood. Space is limited. To reserve your child for this event please call 505-286-4077. See attached flyer.

TRICK-OR-TREAT Trailer to Trailer at RV Sales in Moriarty October 31 5:30 – 7:30 pm! There is an entry fee of $1 or a non-perishable food item which will be donated to the Bethel Storehouse. To give last minute donations, call 832-2400 for details or to get on the list to dress up and pass out candy.
