Adding To The
Guest List
We will be keeping you informed about some of the Special Guests attending this year’s Lincoln Day Dinner. Today we feature John Sanchez and Jeff Byrd.
Lt. Governor John Sanchez was born  and raised in Albuquerque, he traces his public service roots to his great, great grandfather who was a territorial legislator from San Miguel County, in 1860.
In 2005, John was recognized as one of the Top 40 Most Influential Hispanics in the Country. He and his wife Debra have built one of New Mexico’s most respected businesses, being honored as Small Business of the Year twice. An extremely active Lt. Governor, John Sanchez advocates for job creation, economic development, private sector growth and fairness in the state regulatory process. His significant business background, hands on management experience and genuine pro-business enthusiasm, has prepared him for the challenge of promoting positive growth of the economy in New Mexico.
Jefferson Byrd will soon replace Ben Rey Lujan!  He is not a career politician. He  is a father and a husband who is worried about the future of this great country. He fears America is headed down the wrong path; that his children will not experience the same freedoms and opportunities he has been blessed with.

Jeff has a plan that will turn this country back onto the path of prosperity and will work to restore the values that made this country the great hope of the world. He was born and raised here and knows the issues facing us.   He’s lived through the struggles rural New Mexico has faced and has a plan to reduce the burdens of unwarranted regulations and a debilitating tax structure that hurts New Mexico’s small businesses.

Jeff’s focus is to get New Mexicans back to work and to reform government by getting it back to the duties the Constitution intended it to do.
