Mark Udall (D-CO) has put the IRS on notice in the past and now he is letting the United States Justice Department know that he does not agree with either agency about their contention they can grab private, constitutionally protected communications and other protected information sans a search warrant in their possession.

The agencies are asserting their right allegedly granted to them from a court decision handed down when the moon was about the size of a dime.  Senator Udall and other congressional members are challenging the agencies, telling them they do not have such rights.  They promise to introduce legislation to stop the damnable practices and we say, it is far and away one of the most important moves they could attempt.
