Our Grand Marshall this year is
JT Turner,
former owner of Midway, and a true Route 66 entrepreneur and supporter, with up to 9 trading posts, gas stations and curio shops along route 66 in our area.  His grandson Jeremiah Turner operates the Dairy Queen in Edgewood.
And be sure to enjoy our entries,   Including Moriarty High School Marching Band, (who will perform a concert at the West lot at Rich Ford at 11am after the parade), See a couple of our balloon baskets who will be leading the glow at our Hunt N Glow Holiday celebration on December 14… See a bulldozer circa world war 1, similar to the ones who bladed our section of Route 66 in the 1920’s- creating Retribution Road…
cold water from the Valley View Christian Church float…classic cars, floats and run.  The parade runs from RT 66 Campground to Furniture Connection on Linnie Court.  The Parade, themed ROUTE 66,  lines up at 9am, and begins its route headed West on Route 66 at 10am.

And anybody with a motorcycle will enjoy the Motorcycle Poker Run with great prizes and a fun filled afternoon, ending with prizes awarded on the Rich Ford Stage at 5pm, then  the music and fun of Burnin’ Bridges!

T-Shirts will be sold for a very limited time to raise funding to help restore Sal and Inez Lucero’s Whiting Bros. Gas Station in Moriarty
If you want to help, look for them at the RETRO tent at the Business Expo at RRR.  


This station is the last remaining operational Whiting Bros. gas station on Route 66 and is our ICONIC ANCHOR for drawing visitors and Route 66 enthusiasts to our stretch of the Mother Road.  It is extreeeeemely important that we make this happen.
