Remember All Of Them

We are going forward this weekend and into next week to honor our past, current and future veterans.  As we recognize their sacrifices, let us not forget there are hundreds of thousands fighting personal demons as they seek to live the life for which they fought the physical enemy, most never knowing or thinking about the mental turmoil all might be subjected to.

I want to thank “Mel,” of Mel’s Videos for always caring enough to post poignant stories of our fellow citizens … some sad, but all with a glimmer or more of hope. It was on Mel’s site I first saw this video. The video shown below is actually a YouTube video posted by another person or persons, the work of which, shows they care. The video will give directions on how to donate to help others similarly affected

A beautiful short account which continues to the future::

  1. Chuck, all your hard work to put together the articles about veterans is wonderful. Good job!!!
Maybe you could also mention and add a link to websites of Soldiers Who Salsa (www.soldierswhosalsa.org/‎ and https://www.facebook.com/SWSalsa).
They are still local but are working hard on going nationally. They started small in San Diego navy hospital but they are growing and their dance therapy creates very positive results for vets with PTSD and amputees. It’s also a gracious tool to help them readjust to civilian life. SWS need to spread the word about the program and look for serious sponsors dedicated to helping the vets. Anybody interested in more info, contact them directly on their website.

    • Ivona,
Thank you for your kind comments. Vets are just special people, especially combat vets. I will look into your suggestion and I hope to follow what you have suggested.

      Thanks again and God bless,
      Chuck
