The Moriarty Rotary Club Presents
Cirque MontageCirque Montage is a collage of traditional and cutting-edge circus acts featuring former Cirque du Soleil artists. Montage is a show of daring and skill that defies the perception of what is possible. Montage creates a whimsical world of animated characters who each play a role in a cinematic tapestry. A driving drumbeat that mixes with Salsa-World Music flare, intertwines in an ever-changing fabric backdrop of colors, shapes, and textures created by light. Strength, flexibility and technique foster a deep appreciation for the human body – both its capabilities and its beauty. Happy New Year!!!
Well it’s that time of the year folks! Time to say goodbye to 2010 and move on to 2011! Are you ready?
It’s been an interesting year indeed with many trials and tribulations for businesses and individuals alike! But, we made it through and now we can make our new year’s resolutions and start over again tomorrow!
It is our sincere hope from all of us here at the Edgewood Chamber that in 2011 our businesses in the East Mountain area can work together to prosper and flourish!
OUR BEST

FOR 2011
January Luncheon / Annual Meeting
Wednesday, January 12 at 11:30 is the next luncheon. We will meet at the Edgewood Community Center. Please RSVP to (286-2577) or send an email to let us know you are coming and if you plan to eat. Keep in mind that this is our annual meeting. We will be formally introducing the 2011 Board of Directors and its Officers and also voting to approve one new Board member, Jeff Palmer.
Lunch prices have changed!
That’s right, we’ve lowered the price of lunch to make it easier for you to attend! Ticket prices are now $8.00 and FREE for first time guests and also FREE for those not wishing to eat but who would like to attend the meeting. So no excuses, come and join us!
Please DO NOT use the website to prepay for lunches at this time!!!
WELCOME ABOARD! A heartfelt welcome to Howard Calkins, Mary Dammann, Chris Hopper, and Ray Seagers, as our newest Board Members!
As per ECOC by-laws, the Board has been able to fill four vacancies that occurred due to resignations in 2009 and 2010. In 2009 two of the seven Board members resigned prior to their terms ending and they were not filled in 2009 or the first part of 2010. In October of 2010 we had one more Board member resign and in November, one more. The 2010 Board decided to fill those four positions and voted in the people listed above. 2010 President Tony Scott’s term as President ended which opened up one more Board position which Jeff Palmer has been nominated for and will be voted on to be approved at the January luncheon.
At our December Board meeting officers were elected which consist of the following:
Chris Hopper – Vice President
Mary Dammann – Secretary
Jay Snell – Treasurer
Once again according to ECOC by-laws the Vice President (President Elect) becomes the new year’s President. 2010 President Elect, Gary Birkman, will serve as 2011 President.
Non-Officer positions are:
Howard Calkins – Member At Large
Ray Seagers – Member At Large
Jeff Palmer – Member At Large Nominee
We are excited about 2011 and are looking forward to meeting you at the upcoming luncheon!
