Why, they are lies, pure and simple. Remember in our last post we said character counts over empty promises and now we see more lack of character in one of Obama’s books. It really boggles the mind when a man can get away with falsehoods before and after he is elected to the presidency of the United States; but Obama has lied in his books and about how he would give opportunity for citizen comment on legislation and other matters. You do remember, for example, what he said he would do for proposed legislation, i.e., he would post it for a minimum of six days where we sap citizens could have access to it.
Now our leader has ‘fessed up to creating a girlfriend of his youthful days out of thin air … or almost so. What one of his books manages to say is a particular girlfriend was a composite of girlfriends and not a singular person as he has previously represented in the aforementioned book. We believe this president has made himself into whatever he claims to be from bits and pieces of decent folks. Hmm, a composite if you will. Here’s some stuff from one of the Politico blogs by Dylan Byers — if you can find the facts among the fiction:
One of the more mysterious characters from President Obama’s 1995 autobiography Dreams From My Father is the so-called ‘New York girlfriend.’ Obama never referred to her by name, or even by psuedonym, but he describes her appearance, her voice, and her mannerisms in specific detail.
But Obama has now told biographer David Maraniss that the ‘New York girlfriend’ was actually a composite character, based off of multiple girlfriends he had both in New York City and in Chicago.
“During an interview in the Oval Office, Obama acknowledged that, while Genevieve was his New York girlfriend, the description in his memoir was a “compression” of girlfriends, including one who followed Genevieve [Cook] when he lived in Chicago,” Maraniss writes in his new biography, an excerpt of which was published online today by Vanity Fair.
Obama has decided to come clean for reasons known only to himself and those close to him. Whatever the reason, the revelation or revelations illustrate if he will lie about mundane happenings, he will (and has) certainly lied about much more important issues.
“In Dreams from My Father, Obama chose to emphasize a racial chasm that unavoidably separated him from the woman he described as his New York girlfriend,” Maraniss writes, offering a passage from the book in which they go to see a play by a black playwright:
One night I took her to see a new play by a black playwright. It was a very angry play, but very funny. Typical black American humor. The audience was mostly black, and everybody was laughing and clapping and hollering like they were in church. After the play was over, my friend started talking about why black people were so angry all the time. I said it was a matter of remembering—nobody asks why Jews remember the Holocaust, I think I said—and she said that’s different, and I said it wasn’t, and she said that anger was just a dead end. We had a big fight, right in front of the theater. When we got back to the car she started crying. She couldn’t inside United States bordersbe black, she said. She would if she could, but she couldn’t. She could only be herself, and wasn’t that enough.
The next paragraph from the blog is better left for you to read and you can find it here along with a video link. Let us just say we believe Obama is a figment or figments of his imagination dropped down from a cloud of lies.
Think about this when you go to the polls in November and as you watch the mentioned video, remember this presentation by POTUS could have been made inside United States borders and the President of Afghanistan could have been flown here at a much reduced rate … but then POTUS could not have gotten the extra political mileage he has received from this trip.
